Screening for women’s health in the workplace

Women’s health is an area that has often been overlooked in the workplace, despite its critical importance to both individual well-being and organisational success. Women’s health impacts both quality of life and productivity, but with the right initiatives, employers can reduce absenteeism and boost engagement. OneLab is taking a comprehensive approach to health and is now launching an initiative focused on women’s health. The goal is to create sustainable workplaces where all employees can thrive and perform at their best over time.

Proactive Screening for Women’s Health

Women-specific health concerns, such as PMS, menopause-related issues, or pregnancy-related challenges, not only impact quality of life during many working years but can also lead to increased absenteeism and decreased productivity. At the same time, greater awareness and simple adjustments at both the individual and organisational levels can make a significant difference. Companies that invest in inclusive health strategies often see increased loyalty, engagement, and performance among employees, while also enhancing their business by attracting and retaining talent.

To address these challenges, OneLab has introduced women’s health screening as part of our health assessments. By identifying common issues early, we can offer tailored solutions that improve both physical and mental well-being. This screening is integrated into our digital health check, which already examines many of the physical and psychological symptoms often associated with women’s health.

Investing in Women’s Health

Prioritising women’s health in the workplace is not only a matter of employee well-being but also a strategic business advantage. By addressing these issues seriously, companies can reduce absenteeism and strengthen their employer brand. Inclusive health strategies demonstrate that the organisation values all its employees, fostering a more engaged and productive workplace. This approach not only benefits the organisation in the present but also builds long-term competitiveness.
